An initiative for the future of young people and the mountains
A day dedicated to nature, community and the future of the Upper Susa Valley. On Saturday 12 September, at Capanna Mautino in Cesana Torinese, the new ‘Traces of Nature’ Interactive Trail, created by Chaberton Outdoor Activities, will be officially opened, alongside activities from the Smart Village – New Generations for the Upper Susa Valley programme.

10.00 – 10.30 | Arrival at Capanna Mautino
10.30 – 11.00 | Ribbon-cutting ceremony and speeches by officials
11.00 – 13.00 | Departure of guided walks in groups along the Interactive Trail
13:00 | Social drinks
15:00 – 16:30 | Smart Village Interactive Workshop
A workshop designed specifically for young people aged between 18 and 40 to gather ideas, needs and opportunities regarding living, working and building a future in the mountains. The event will be attended by the managers of Capanna Mautino and the Chaberton Outdoor Activities association. With a special appearance by Giulia Tonelli, a graphic facilitator, who will oversee the visual mapping of the area.
Participation in the event is free of charge.
The Smart Village workshop is aimed specifically at young people aged between 18 and 40. To take part, please register by 10 September by emailing mistral@fondazionetime2.it.
We recommend comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking. The trek takes approximately 1 hour.
